Anne came to see us asking if we would help produce a calendar for Oxenhope Village. I always believe that there is a way to get things done if people want them enough, and Anne really wants this Calendar, and now so do I!

So this is the plan, and we are after your support...

I am going to enlist the help of some young people (again!) we have a core group of talented photographers in the training who are connected to the business Jess, Craig, Matt and Jen (Jen this is your enrichment project by the way!). I am going to charge them with the job of getting the images.

Next we need some funding.... well we are going to call on businesses in Oxenhope to sponsor a month for £50, and in return include an advert for them which Mine! will happily put together.

Calendars will go on sale towards the end of next year and the income generated from the sales will fund a 'scholarship' to be awarded to a photography student at Parkside School.

A mighty fine plan too in my opinion it brings together everything I believe in, young talent, community based, purposeful, and rewarding. Stuff like this makes me personally feel very good and positive and is the right way to use your resources if you are able.
